Out of 151 National Federations, 97 applied for equipment within the ”Material Aid 2017” program of the FIE.
When evaluating the requests the following main criteria were taken into special consideration:
- the National Federations who organise World Championships, Zonal Championships, Grand Prix or other FIE competitions were given priority
- the efforts of those National Federations who are active in participating at FIE competitions were also appreciated.
In total 95 federations will receive equipment :
Europe (33 Federations): Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, FYROM, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye
Asia (19 Federations): Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mauritius, Mongolia, Nepal, Singapore, Syria, Thailand, Turkmenistan, UAE, Vietnam.
Americas (22 Federations) : Argentina, Aruba, Bahamas, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela, US Virgin Islands
Africa (19 Federations): Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Libya, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda.
In Oceania (2 Federations): Australia, New Zealand.
Each Federation will be contacted individually by the FIE Sport Department that will indicate the exact equipment amount granted.
