July 2025 FIE/ITA Clean Sport-Antidoping Webinar for Open for Athletes, Coaches

LAUSANNE, June 27, 2025 – The FIE and International Testing Agency (ITA) will host a Clean Sport and Antidoping webinar on July 9, 2025, prior to the 2025 Tbilisi Fencing World Championships. It is open to all athletes, coaches and officials who would like to learn more about this important aspect of competition.

It will specifically focus on the following topics:

  • Testing pools and associated requirements, including whereabouts and the use of ADAMS
  • Use of medications and TUEs

A selection of athlete and coach questions from previous FIE/ITA webinars will also be addressed and discussed during the webinar.

This programme will be led by Armando Urban from ITA with FIE Medical Commission members Dr. Sabrina Halaimia and Dr. Lazar Miceta, who will provide expert-level guidance for the programme.
