The Rheinischer Fechter-Bund e.V. (Rhine Fencing Association) is one of the biggest and most successful state associations within the German Fencing Association.
We are looking for a dedicated
State Trainer Epee (m/f, full time)
for the State Fencing Center Leverkusen
Your responsibilities:
- To be responsible for training and coaching of state squad fencers (13 – 20 years old) in epee, especially running the state training in Leverkusen as well as training camps
- To develop and implement conceptions to promote young talents to the federal squad, especially talent screening in other clubs and inviting them to the state training in Leverkusen
- To support trainers and projects of the supporting club TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen
- To improve cooperation with the Federal Fencing Center in Bonn and the other State Fencing Center for epee in Solingen
- To support Rheinischer Fechter-Bund in trainer education
Your profile:
- Trainer license German Olympic Sport Association – “Fencing A” or similar and willingness for further education
- Excellent fencing lesson skills
- Experience in competitive epee fencing with children and young people
- Experience in planning and running training camps
- Strong communication, management, and pedagogic skills – we are looking for a team player
- Very good German language skills (German level B2 to be acquired within one year)
- Willingness to travel and to work on evenings and weekends, driver’s license required
- Willingness to move to Leverkusen or near surrounding
