The FIE “Donate Your Fencing Gear!” program, which takes good-quality equipment donations from world athletes that benefit and target disadvantaged areas and underprivileged people, helps build fencing and enable fencers to play and compete. Read about how the program is reaching new communities and athletes to help develop fencing, and ways in which federations may apply to benefit from the program. Each year, the program receives formal bids from countries to become beneficiaries. In this manner, Donate Your Fencing Gear! gives a fair opportunity to all to participate, which in turn makes the overall program highly sustainable with a dynamic quality combined with significant momentum and reach into diverse communities worldwide.
