When and where did you begin this sport? She began fencing at age eight. "From the very beginning, I decided that whatever sport I started training for would be serious. When I was young and we had to do physical activities, I was never unhappy about it. On the contrary, I wanted to do it better than the others and more often. If the other kids trained four times a week, I would train six times."
Why this sport? She took up the sport as an extra-curricular activity after coaches came to her school. She believes the qualities associated with fencing help in other areas of her life. "Speed, agility, stamina, reflexes, these qualities help you a lot in life, not just in sports."
