When and where did you begin this sport? He began fencing at age six.
Why this sport? "I saw a photo in the newspaper. It showed two fencers in their white robes, which struck me as extremely elegant. In 2003 I tried fencing for the first time, made friends there, it was fun and I stuck with it. Right from the start I was very lucky with my first trainers, who really introduced me to the sport and motivated me."
