When and where did you begin this sport? He began the sport at age five with his uncle as his first coach. He was spotted by national coach Nassim Islam Bernaoui at age seven. "I started fencing as an amateur only, then I decided to go professional and focus on going far in this sport after I got several national titles."
Why this sport? He was influenced by his uncles. "I started with the sport of fencing when I was five years old, and the main reason I chose to practise this sport was my uncles, who were former champions. They were the ones who inspired me in fencing."
