The Colombia-based Cundinamarca Fencing League has announced it is beginning and sponsoring an “environmental fencing” pilot project (#Esgrima Ambiental) to inspire and take responsibility for the impact of plastics in the environment. The League says “…we are convinced that children and young people are the ones who notice light and colors, whose emotions are affected by sounds and texture, and who most easily appreciate the concept of protecting, looking after and taking responsibility for nature, that wonderful entity that is struggling to survive”.
