On Saturday April 18, the opening ceremony of the 2015 Pan American Senior Fencing Championships will be held at 18.00 hours at the National Sports Stadium Santiago, Chile.
The Championship is scheduled to take place April 17-26. It is an Individual and Teams qualifying tournament for the Pan American Games Toronto 2015. Individual events will be held on from Saturday through Monday with the team competition beginning on Tuesday and concluding on Thursday, April 23.
Organisers of the event are the Panamerican Fencing Confederation, with the support and recognition of the International Fencing Federation, in coordination and organization of the Chilean Fencing Federation, the support and sponsorship of the Chile Ministry of Sports and the Chile Olympic Committee.
The Championship aims to reiforce the promotion of fencing on the road to Rio and it is an important event in Olympic qualification.
There will be transportation from airport to hotel and hotel to airport for participating delegations provided that they report their arrival and departure no later than March 17 at 18:30 hours, to the mail addresses below.
