TOKYO, Japan, November 28, 2018—Atsushi Harinishi, member of the FIE SEMI Commission and adviser to the Japan Fencing Federation, has been awarded “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays”.
This distinguished Japanese order, established in 1875 by Emperor Meiji of, is awarded to those individuals who have made distinguished achievements in international relations, promotion of Japanese culture, advancements in their field, development of welfare or preservation of the environment.
Yuki Ota, President of the Japan Fencing Federation, announced that this is the third order bestowed upon the Federation.
