We are saddened to report Mr. Muftawu Rashid, vice president of the Ghana Fencing Federation, passed away recently in his home country. “It is with deep sorrow I report the sudden death of the vice president of our federation,” said Ghana Federation President Mohammed Mahadi. Mr. Rashid was elected to the federation in January 2017. On behalf of our world fencing family and community, we extend our condolences and sympathies to Mr. Rashid’s family, friends, and colleagues, and the Ghana Fencing Federation.
