The Buenos Aires 2018 Organising Committee (BAYOGOC) launched their official emblem for the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games today, with just over three years to go to the Games.
To engage with young people the emblem has been created with the spirit of the Youth Olympic Games in mind and the identity of Buenos Aires 2018. The emblem has been inspired by the city's vibrant colours, eclectic culture and many neighbourhoods and icons to reflect the diverse and versatile culture of Buenos Aires.
The emblem will be presented mainly in digital format through social media and on the official website www.buenosaires2018.com in line with the sustainable approach of the Youth Olympic Games and in order to reach young audiences.

The Youth Olympic Games are an international multi-sport and cultural event in which the athletes that compete are from 15 to 18 years old. The Buenos Aires 2018 edition will take place in October 1st to 12th 2018, and is planning to bring innovations to the Olympic programme, emphasizing especially on the legacy of the Games’ celebration and the Learn & Share programme.
