A vote intended to identify the best referees of the season, for each weapon, will be organised during the World Championships 2015 in Moscow, in collaboration with
the Refereeing Commission, the Athletes Commission, the Coaches Council, and the Sports Department of the FIE.
The persons authorised to vote are the following:
1) The first 32 athletes in the FIE rankings for each weapon
2) The coaches of the first 16 teams in the FIE rankings for each weapon (1 trainer per team)
3) All the referees nominated for the World Championships 2015.
A polling station under the FIE aegis will be installed inside the competition hall. 4 volunteers will permanently service it. Each voter will have to vote in person and sign a form, and he/she will receive a World Championships 2015 T-shirt.
Polling date and timetable: from 13 to 17 July 2015, from 10 AM to 5 PM
The votes will be counted on 17 July, after 5 PM, by:
- One representative of the Refereeing Commission
- One representative of the Athletes Commission
- One representative of the Coaches Council
- Mrs. Jie AO, FIE Deputy Sport Director
