ANOC President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah welcomed around 250 guests from the Olympic family who attended the inauguration ceremony of the new headquarters, situated in the heart of the Olympic capital, Lausanne.
As the HQ building is next to the Lausanne Palace, the IOC President Thomas Bach joked by saying that « it is very nice to have good neighbors since you cannot really chose them. »
