On Tuesday 21 was a good team competition at the Pan American Championships in Santiago. USA won both gold medals, Men foil and Women's epée. Canada fenced a close bout with Brazil in Men's Foil but lost. Canada ended up beating Mexico for the Bronze medal and USA defeated Brazil and won the gold.
In the Team Women’s epée Finals, Canada lost to the USA and then lost to Cuba in the bronze medal match. Venezuela beat Cuba before losing to the United States.
