When and where did you begin this sport? He began fencing at age seven, and started competing at age 12.
Why this sport? Coach Iulian Bituca discovered him at school. Bituca introduced him to the sport as a way of dealing with the distance between Dolniceanu and his parents, who had moved to Italy.
