When and where did you begin this sport? She began fencing at age 10.
Why this sport? She was inspired to take up the sport after watching an episode of the US teen sitcom 'iCarly'. "What first drew me to fencing, other than thinking it was cool to swordfight, was the individual aspect of it. Though there are team events in fencing, the majority of the time it's just you against one other person, and all of your successes and failures depend on how you perform on the strip."
