When and where did you begin this sport? She first tried foil fencing at her school in 2015. She began training competitively the following year at Tri-City Fencing Academy in Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada.
Why this sport? She was curious about the sport when a club started at her school. "It is kind of weird to be picking up a sword and stabbing each other. You're trying to outwit your opponent. A good fencer is so smart."
