When and where did you begin this sport? He began fencing in grade two of primary school.
Why this sport? He was influenced by his father, who was a high school fencing coach. "When I was young I didn't have much time with my dad as he was often away on training camps. Therefore I thought that I would be able to spend more time with him if I took up fencing."
