When and where did you begin this sport? He began fencing at age eight at Zeta Fencing in Natick, MA, United States of America.
Why this sport? "I just remember I liked 'Star Wars', and I'm still a huge fan. So instead of running around hitting my brother with light sabres my parents signed me up for fencing and I've stuck with it ever since."

Other information RETIREMENT THOUGHTS
He planned to retire after the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo but his participation at the Games renewed his motivation. "Being on the world's biggest stage and maximising my Olympic experience instilled a new hunger in me. I was initially going to hang up the sabre and mask after I competed in Tokyo, but I realised this was only the beginning of my journey. There is so much I can still give to the sport and the community outside of it as well." (thelanote.com, 05 Nov 2022)
OCCUPATION
As well as working as a model, he has been a part-time employee at GMTM, a sports social network for athletes, coaches, and organisations. "My goal is to give the opportunity to athletes to have a platform where they can get access to more engagement and opportunities for grants and sponsorships. I guess that's something I have always wished I had in college or prior, just recognising that you can have your own brand at an early age. And that was something that wasn't available in the past but now that it is, the mission for me at GMTM is finding that solution or that opportunity for these athletes."
