When and where did you begin this sport? He took up the sport at age five in Foggia, Italy.
Why this sport? He was inspired by the Zorro character as a child. At age five his father was advised to take him to fencing lessons. "My father didn't even know fencing existed. He took me to the fencing hall in Foggia, and I haven't stopped since."
