He intends to use his experiences to help young athletes balance school and sport. "I would like to go to schools to talk about the relationship between study and sport. Organisation is essential not only in fencing, but in any other activity, such as if you play an instrument. It takes a lot of goal-setting. I am a lover of psychology, I really like to tackle these issues. I have studied a lot of these things to improve myself as an athlete, I would love to talk about my experiences to school children. If in my small way I could contribute to helping our children, that would be a great victory. You are not a champion just by winning bouts. I believe it should be essential to integrate training and schooling for children who have the desire and the ability to be able to play sports at a high level. They should coexist because they are two pillars to train boys who will become men. It should be appreciated and celebrated for those who manage to reconcile both."
