General Interest

Nicknames Doudou Dynamite (franceantilles.mobi, 02 Jan 2015)
Injuries In September 2015 she had to stop fencing because of a herniated disc, which ended her hopes of selection for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. She returned to competition in November 2016. "Of course I would have liked to have been in Rio, but I knew in late 2015 that would not be the case, so I had time to accept it." (guadeloupe.franceantille.mobi, 17 Mar 2017)
Ambitions To compete at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. (Facebook profile, 17 Mar 2017)
Other information RETURN FROM INJURY
After recovering from the back injury that ended her hopes of competing at the 2016 Olympic Games and kept her on the sidelines for a year, she returned to competition in November 2016. But she admitted there was some self-doubt. "I wondered if I could be as good as I was before. Would it be too hard? I sincerely thought about stopping everything. I'd had enough. Luckily, my family and friends convinced me to continue." (guadeloupe.franceantille.mobi, 17 Mar 2017)

2012 OLYMPIC REPLACEMENT
She was selected as a replacement for the French team that went to the 2012 Olympic Games in London. She did get a chance to compete during the tournament, coming on for Ysaora Thibus in the bronze medal match against the Republic of Korea. France lost the tie 22-10. (franceantilles.fr, 2012)
