With the occasion of #worldfencingday, occurred worldwide on Saturday, September 12, 2020, our historical Academy organized, here in Rome, the 10th Edition of “A Fil di Spada” (lit. “By the Edge of the Sword”), a fencing event of huge success. This time, our occurrence has taken place with the background of one of the world’s most famous monuments: the Pantheon.
Some of our World Fencing Champions, able-bodied and in a wheelchair, keep the audience participating on the edge of their seats, while some famous guests were speaking at our microphones, celebrities such as Novella Calligaris, swimming olympic champion, journalist and Italian Sport Legend, and Giorgio Scarso, President of FIS - Italian Fencing Federation.
