When and where did you begin this sport? She took up fencing at about age 11 at Sergei's Sabre Club in Edmonton, AB, Canada.
Why this sport? Her brother was a fencer and she would watch him train. "I got into fencing because my brother was fencing, and my coach was like, 'When are you going to start fencing?' for like three years. Then I decided I was going to try it."
