Sport Specific Information

When and where did you begin this sport? She began fencing in 2004.

Why this sport? Her sister was a fencer. A coach asked Katrina to try the sport too because of her height and the fact that she is left handed. Her natural ability immediately shone through. "Fencing has been a very popular sport in Haapsalu [her hometown in Estonia]. My sister was doing it and I started going to see her workouts."
