Other information SCHOLARSHIP
She was offered a full scholarship by Pennsylvania State University in the United States of America after winning gold in the individual sabre at the 2013 World Cadet Championships in Porec, Croatia. She was due to take up her place at the college in September 2015 but deferred for a year in order to prepare as a full-time athlete ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. "I chose Penn State because they always achieve good results in NCAA [National Collegiate Athletic Association] fencing competitions. I believe they have a systematic training programme.
