She received the nickname 'Peanut Fencer' because of her height. She is 154 centimetres tall, and also found it difficult to find sporting shoes the correct size. "I've never worn fencing shoes that are a perfect fit in my life. Therefore I always put insoles into the shoes, tying the laces so tight they cut off the blood in my feet before a match.
