Grand Prix and World Cups

The FIE individual World Cup series consists of three Grand Prix and five World Cups per year in each discipline.

The entries for Grand Prix competitions are limited to a maximum of 8 fencers per weapon per country. Only the organising country may enter more.

Points obtained in FIE Grand Prix competitions are multiplied by a factor of 1.5.

Points obtained in FIE World Cup competitions have the multiplier 1.

For the official FIE World Ranking, the best five results at World Cup competitions (including Grand Prix and Satellite competitions) plus the World Championships or Olympic Games and the Zonal Championships are taken into account.
